Boyfriend help 20 + only?

so my boyfriend stopped smoking pot and now he feels the need to make me feel stupid. he'll say i love you and your stupid all in the same convo, when someone insults you then laughs about it does not make it funny. by the way. anyways BREAKING UP WITH HIM IS NOT ANY OPTION so please do not suggest it. we have been together for nine months and i feel like i should talk to him about this. i am getting tired of feeling like **** everytime i leave his house.





any suggestions on how to approach this subject without making it into a fist fight????Boyfriend help 20 + only?
He probably just doesn't know what to do with himself since he quit and he's aggravated. The best thing to do is to wait until the next time that he says he cares for you but then says that you're stupid. After he does it, ask him in a confused and slightly hurt tone why he said that. If he asks what, be specific! Tell him exactly what he said (how he says he loves you and then puts you down). If you don't make him feel pressured and like he's being attacked, he should respond with a reasonable answer, and hopefully he doesn't realize he's doing it.Boyfriend help 20 + only?
no offense, but if breaking up is not an option, then maybe you deserve what you get. A real person would not let someone treat them this way and would walk away. If you talk to him and he doesn't stop or keeps talking to you that way, and you don't leave him, then well, get used to feeling like *****. 9 months is not that long for a realtionship, and if he really cared about you he wouldn't talk to you like that or treat you that way.
Sorry to say but if he's treating you like this and you refuse to leave him your an idiot and deserve what ever happens to you; do you have self esteem issues? because it sure sounds like it.


I'll never understand women like you who let a guy treat them like shite and then make excuses for them and blame it on yourself, the best thing you can do is 1) get some professional help for your self esteem issues 2) dump that a$$ clown you call a b/f; come on 9mos? are you freakin serious?

it will be easy to be open minded towards him the hard part is that he needs to know that is serious what you are saiying so if he know you will never leave him

honestly i may be only 18 but i think that you should let him do what he wants, i personally hate pot smokers but i have learned to accept it in a guy cause now a days everyone does it. . maybe just have him limit himself to it and also you should approach him nicely and ask him why he always has to make rude comments and that how would he react if you started doing the same thing to him, maybe he doesnt realize how much it hurts you. so the best thing to do is make it noticeable. . you have to remember guys cant read minds just like we cant! so i say talk to him about everything cause if you get EVERYTHING you need to talk to out of your system then you will have absolutely NOTHING to fight about and maybe your relationship will be taken to the next level!
